was sent to all our software licensees on January 1, 2010 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scantel Systems Ltd. will be closing its operations effective Friday December 31, 2010. We have chosen December 31, 2010 in order to provide all our users a full year in which to make any adjustments necessary. All current subscriptions for data file maintenance and support will be honoured by us in full. Any subscriptions renewals falling due during 2010 will be invoiced by us for services only until December 31, 2010. This means that invoices issued in January 2010 will be for the 11 month period from February 2010 until December 2010; February invoices will be for the 10 month period from March 2010 until December 2010, and so on. To help our users adjust, we have entered into an agreement with Mailing Innovations/Pitney Bowes, under which they will provide their equivalent StreetSweeper software at no extra cost to you. Also, they will allow you to replace your Scantel Subscription with theirs at no cost to you until your subscription with us expires. This will allow all users to switch over to StreetSweeper at any time before your Scantel Subscription expires and incur no additional software or subscription costs. Essentially, this means that if you have a Scantel subscription until December 2010, you can switch over at any time during 2010 with no extra subscription costs at all.
